The young Norwegian designer, Falke Svatun who is based in Oslo, has designed a minimal rendition of a traditional Scandinavian dining chair. The name, Synnes Chair. Made from high-quality form-pressed plywood/laminates the construction includes multiple dowels connecting the seat and back. The very thin 6mm backrest offers a very comfortable and solid backrest while forming a structural shell around you. The chair is available in natural oak and stained ash and can also be upholstered with leather or fabric.
Falke Svatun started his career here in Sydney, Australia while studying industrial design at the University of Technology. A big fan of minimalistic design and sensibilities, Falke Svatun looks to connects historic references to modern, minimal creations through his furniture, lighting and accessory designs.
