The details are in the name with Primary referring to the series of shapes that have been utilised within the collections (circle, square and triangle) and Fluorescent referring to the fluorescent nature of the gasses that create a light within the neon-tubing. Made to resemble concrete, the aluminium cast bases fuse with the linear illuminated components.
Neither a product nor a pure artistic expression, but a culmination of both. The collection were exhibited as part of a a solo exhibition ‘Synthesis’ in Zurich at Roehrs & Boetsch.
