Designed by Industrial Facility for Herman Miller
London-based designers Industrial Facility have designed a modular seating system called Plex for Herman Miller. Designed for individual comfort this seating program is designed to fit within a group of compact seats. Designed to fit within an office, education, and/or healthcare setting the Plex seating series have been designed to be a little smaller than your comparable soft-seats offering a greater variety of planning arrangement.
Each chair can be connected using a simple hook allowing a flexible array of seating options. Leveraging off Herman Miller's long experience and knowledge of ergonomics, anthropometrics and comfort, Industrial Facility utilised this extensive knowledge to create a very comfortable, robust seating collection. The Plex also uses the super-seat technology in it's webbing which adjusts through a stretched rubber membrane that adjusts to whatever posture the user may take. The seating arrangement also sports power with both USD and mains integrating or added at a later date. The additional lightweight height-adjustable side table is also part of the greater collection.
