Designed by Quentin de Coster
We've written about a number of candle holders over the last few months but none have been quite as simple, childish and playful as the NOSE. This stunning minimalist candle holder has been designed by Quentin de Coster. The simplicity is insane, made from only two laser cut pieces of steel welded together to form the body. What I really like about this piece is the tongue-in-cheek of the design. If you look carefully you'll notice that the abstract silhouette is actually a nose which was in fact the inspiration behind the final design. This 'nose' holds the candle in place as it sits upon the base allowing for the user to transport and stand wherever one intends.
Quentin de Coster also designed the Satellite Lamp.
