Designed by Architect Prineas
Architect Prineas has designed and developed the minimalist home Nano Pad, located in our hometown Sydney, Australia. The home was designed within a 22 sqm Art Deco Studio Apartment in the inner city. The home was originally designed as a short stay accomodation as an alternative to other available locations within Sydney. The studio housed a number of issues through poor planning, over-sized and under utilised entry and no defined spaces. The unqiue angle of an applied plywood insertion that sits within the existing shell of the apartments creates a base for the design aesthetics.
The home is full of stunning design features that anyone who is at a point of creation could take as inspiration and help develop something equally as special. The clever addition of plywood cabinets and draws helps create a level of accessibility and storage comparable to larger apartments. Photography by Chris Warnes
