Designed by DADADUM
As minimalist designs go the Cresta chair is definitely up there as one of our favourites. Designed by Jörg Boner from Zurich for the new Swiss furniture company DADADUM. This beautifully designed chair offers both traditional beauty and modernity through its use of modern technology within its build. The Cresta chair is one of the first chairs to utilise the finger joint technology by connecting both the seat and the back in a uniquely streamlined fashion.
Bending the rules of design, the front legs have been brought back to meet with the back legs while using the same joints. This creates the spectacular “K” shape profile and focal point. While being a beautifully sculptured and delicate design the chair surprisingly hugs the curves of your body, creating a long-lasting comfort. The Cresta was designed to represent a natural progression of the Stabelle chair, one of the most recognised chairs of Swiss heritage.
