Architectural Photography by Bruno Candiotto
With the combined efforts of Oscar Niemeyer, Lucio Costa, and Burle Marx comes Brasília, Brazil’s architectural capital. A viewing pleasure, the city is full of unique lines and sweeping curves blanketing endless parks and fountain-filled pools. Bruno Candiotto has taken it upon himself to capture this majestic place through his photo series, Brasília.
Perhaps, Brasília was the most utopian city I've ever visited. The federal capital of Brazil has sparked something absolutely unusual in me; I felt "connected", optimistic, and patriotic. It filled me with hope and desire "to live this country" and for the country – exactly as it was 'designed' to do right from the beginning.
