Designed by Trevor Cheney
The Autobahn Table has been designed by Californian based designer Trevor Cheney. Designed by strategically placing the legs to help define the work space. This minimalist table was inspired by the intersecting lines that a transit map has. Taking a research piece around how we interact and perceive our surroundings and our personal space the table creates a level of ownership, while managing to maintain that social aspect that a large table provides. I really like the way the legs penetrate the surface and are visible from the top of the table allowing the viewer to see the atypical orientation of the legs.
