A House by The Sea
Designed by Pitsou Kedem Architects
The design of this house was inspired by the copious amount of light and the horizontal alignment of the horizon. Built on the edge of the Mediterranean shoreline, the design plays true to the values of the location and the environment that surrounds this home. This is clear when you view the home and it's connection to the clear lines of the blue sea and the distant points of the horizon.
The beautifully minimal exterior allows the viewers eyes to glide over the long exterior terraces without too much of a distraction. The climate has also been a big influence in the design of the home with the 'apron' walls focusing the flow of air to help cool the skin and internal home.
I really like the simplistic and modern design and the way the lines connect and play with the sky, sea and sand that encases the home.
