Just when you thought there wasn't much else you could do with the trusted ice cream spoon Ode to Things delivers the 15.0% Ice Cream Spoon. The minimalist ice cream spoon was designed by Naoki Terada with the help of Japanese manufacturer Lemnos.
Made from solid aluminium the ice cream spoon has a high rate of thermal conductivity. This means that the heat from the hand that is holding the spoon will slowly melt the ice cream making their experience just that little bit better.
Naoki Terada went one step further with the design and has introduced three different models built with different types of ice cream in mind. Name after a classic flavour - Vanilla has the egg-shaped tip; Chocolate has an angular tip; and Strawberry has the fork-like tip. These pieces offer originality through their aesthetics within a somewhat dull endeavour.
